Second baseman Yank Robinson hit 2 doubles and Bob Caruthers tossed a complete
game as the St. Louis Browns defeated the Philadelphia Athletics by the score
of 7 to 3 at Sportsman's Park.

St. Louis scored 3 runs in the 5th inning when they came up with 3 base hits.
They would hold up as the winning runs.  St. Louis rapped out 8 hits for the
afternoon.  

The win was credited to Caruthers(22-6) who went the whole way allowing 3
runs. Cyclone Miller(0-2) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 8 innings giving up
8 hits and 2 walks.
