TEAM RISP- Perfectos: 6 for 17 Pirates: 0 for 15

The Pittsburg Pirates pitching staff was overwhelmed by the St. Louis
Perfectos lineup who plated 10 runs while Pete McBride(3-4), with relief help
from Willie Sudhoff, held Pittsburg to 1 run.

Pittsburg was unable to recover after St. Louis went ahead in the top of the
2nd inning as they scored 2 runs on 2 base hits. That scoring would be all
that was needed. St. Louis had 15 hits overall, while Pittsburg had 8.

Tully Sparks(5-5) was tagged with the loss. He was unable to control the St.
Louis offense and allowed 12 hits and 4 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.
