Billy Maloney had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Chappie McFarland had a complete
game as the Brooklyn Superbas defeated the Cincinnati Reds 4 to 2 at
Washington Park.

Brooklyn brought 2 runs across the plate in the 6th inning.  The critical
plate appearance was by Maloney who made the crowd come alive when he tripled
plating two runs.  Brooklyn had a total of 9 hits for the game.  

The win was credited to McFarland(6-3) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
The losing pitcher was Bob Wicker(8-16).  He surrendered 9 hits and 2 walks
