Red Ehret tossed a complete game and Lou Bierbauer hit one over the fence and
had 4 RBI as the Pittsburg Pirates topped the Cleveland Spiders by a score of
13 to 4 at Exposition Park.

Bierbauer enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He hit a single bringing in a run
in the 1st inning, lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 4th
inning and doubled in the 6th inning.  Pittsburg had a total of 16 hits for
the game.  

Ehret(14-11) finished the game allowing 4 runs in the victory. Charlie
Petty(4-8) was charged with the loss.  He served up 4 homeruns in his 8
innings.  

With this win, Pittsburg has a 41-48 record.  They have been 3-7 lately.  With
the loss, Cleveland has a record of 5-5 lately, 47-39 overall.
