Jean Dubuc allowed Jeff Pasley to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as
the Brooklyn Dodgers came back to win one over St. Louis-AL Browns, 4 to
2.

Brooklyn had the game winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 3 runs on 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Burt Shotton kicked off the action when he
reached on an error. Tommy Leach stepped into the batter's box and he ripped
a single. Eddie Collins then hit a sacrifice fly knocking in a run. Gavvy
Cravath followed and he bombed a two-run dinger resulting in an exciting win
for Brooklyn and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. The
game was a scoreless duel until the 7th inning.

The win went to Dubuc(8-9) who allowed 2 runs in the game. Ed Reulbach(8-10)
was hit with the loss in relief. 'Wow, that was fun!', Dubuc said following
the game. 'Once in a while you play a game that reminds you just why you got
into this business to begin with!'
