Right fielder Del Ennis slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Stubby Overmire
allowed Robert Baker to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the New
York-AL Yankees outscored the Boston-AL Red Sox 10 to 5.

It was a good day for New York-AL thanks to Ennis.  He delivered a solo blast
in the 2nd inning and popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 7th
inning.  New York-AL had a total of 12 hits for the game.  

Overmire(4-7), allowing 5 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Erv
Palica(7-14) was the loser.  He allowed 3 homeruns in 6 innings of work.
