The Boston-AL Red Sox enjoyed a blow-out, pounding the New York-AL Yankees
pitchers for 10 while Johnny Klippstein(8-10)with the help of the bullpen
surrendered 2 runs to New York-AL.

Boston-AL jumped on top of New York-AL in the top of the 2nd inning when they
tallied 2 runs on 2 hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by
Klippstein who disappointed the partisan crowd when he tripled scoring two
baserunners.  Boston-AL had 16 hits for the game and New York-AL had 9.

Paul Minner(6-6) was given the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 7 runs in 3 and 1/3 innings.
