Minnie Minoso had 4 hits and 3 RBI at Forbes Field as the Pittsburgh Pirates
won a thriller over the Cleveland Indians in, 7 to 6.

Pittsburgh won the game with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning.  Red
Schoendienst slapped a one-base hit.  Dick Donovan came next and he drew a
walk.  Minoso then singled to load the bases.  One out later, Willie Mays was
the next batter, but he struck out.  Yogi Berra stepped into the box and
delivered a single giving Pittsburgh the victory as 33,197 happy fans
celebrated wildly.  Pittsburgh ended up with 17 hits for the game while
Cleveland had 12.  

Donovan(4-2) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Sandy Consuegra(3-9)
ended up with the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and
surrendered 4 hits and 1 walk.
