Ted Kluszewski blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds bested
the Washington Nationals 11 to 4 at Crosley Field.

Kluszewski helped send the fans home happy.  He popped a two-run clout over
the fence in the 3rd inning and hit a bases-empty home run in the 7th inning.
Cincinnati out-hit Washington for the game, 15 hits to 7.  

Joe Nuxhall(9-11) allowed 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Johnny Podres(3-6) was given the loss.  He was touched for 3
homeruns in his 8 innings of work.
