Jerry McCormick had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Bob Emslie tossed a complete game as
the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Pittsburgh Alleghenys by a score of 10 to
9 at Exposition Park.

McCormick led the offense for Baltimore.  He tripled knocking in a run in the
1st inning, smacked a single in the 3rd inning, stroked a one-base hit
scoring a run in the 4th inning and tripled plating a run in the 8th inning.
Baltimore had a total of 14 hits for the game.  

The win went to Emslie(5-2) who allowed 9 runs in the game. Jack Neagle(2-9)
was the losing pitcher.  He got hammered, allowing 14 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings.
