and Burt Shotton had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated
the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 6 to 0 at Washington Park.

Seaton(6-8) simply dominated Pittsburgh.  He allowed only 4 hits and 4 walks
in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 2.87.  Brooklyn had a total of 8 hits for
the game.
