Catcher Jack Rowe had 4 hits and 4 RBI and Hugh Daily went the distance as the
Buffalo Bisons bested the pitiful Worcester Ruby Legs 15 to 7 at Driving Park
Grounds.
Rowe enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled
resulting in a run in the 2nd inning, doubled scoring a run in the 6th inning
and slapped a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 7th inning. Buffalo bats
were very productive in the 1st inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 3 hits
and the 6th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 4 hits. Buffalo had many
opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.
Daily(16-12) allowed 7 runs on the game. Fred Corey(5-7) was given the loss.
He was knocked around, surrendering 15 runs in 9 innings.
