John Reilly smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Will White had a complete
game at Bank Street Grounds as the Cincinnati Red Stockings won a thriller
over the Louisville Eclipse in, 6 to 5.

Cincinnati scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning.  After two
were out Reilly lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' resulting in an exciting win
for Cincinnati and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans.
Cincinnati rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was White(26-17) who allowed 5 runs for the game. Sam
Weaver(16-17) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 8 and 2/3 innings giving up
8 hits and 1 walk.
