Jeff Tesreau completed the game without help from the bullpen as the amazing
New York Giants defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 11 to 3 at Polo

the 2nd inning, delivered a one-base hit in the 4th inning and doubled which
plated a run in the 5th inning. New York managed 14 hits in their victory.

The victory was credited to Tesreau(9-4) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Bill Steele(3-11) was tagged with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing
