Cushman(14-5) gave a fine effort for New York.  He went 9 innings and
surrended up 12 hits and no walks.  Brooklyn out-hit New York 12 to 6, but
New York ended up with more runs.  

John Harkins(8-15) was charged with the loss.  The New York ballclub's record
now stands at 28-45.  With the loss, the Brooklyn ballclub's record is 28-47.
