Second baseman Kid Gleason had 2 base hits and Jesse Tannehill pitched a
complete game as the Boston-AL Americans beat the Cincinnati Reds by a score
of 6 to 4.

Boston-AL brought 3 runs across the plate in the 4th inning with the help of 4
hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Bill Bradley who made the crowd
happy when he bombed a two-run dinger.  Despite losing, Cincinnati out-hit
Boston-AL 13 to 8.  

Tannehill(8-11) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Christy
Mathewson(18-14) was tagged with the loss.  He allowed 3 homeruns in 7
innings of work.  

'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Tannehill said.
