Earl Moore(5-14) was on top of his game in Washington as he tossed a beauty of
a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds. The Washington Senators won by a
score of 1 to 0.

Moore was obviously at the top of his game as he set the Cincinnati batters
down like so many dominoes. He walked 2 Cincinnati batters. What a day for
the fans. They were on the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on. With
every out, the electricity in the air mounted. Washington had only 4 hits
for the game.

Christy Mathewson(18-18) was tagged with the loss. After the game, Moore was
heard to say, 'This is something I have dreamt about since I was a little boy
- to have it come true is just amazing!'
