Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Red Sox by the count of 6 to

Pittsburgh had 3 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 6th inning with the
help of 3 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Hank Sauer who elicited a
roar from the hometown fans when he blasted a two-run home run.  Pittsburgh
managed 11 hits in their victory.
