Billy Shindle had 3 base hits and scored 3 times and Frank Foreman was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at League Park
where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Cincinnati Red Stockings by the score of
9 to 3.

Baltimore set the tone of the game in the first inning plating one baserunner
utilizing 2 base hits.  Baltimore had a total of 13 hits for the game.  

The win went to Foreman(14-20) who allowed 3 runs in the game. Jesse
Duryea(21-11) was hit with the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
