Lou Bierbauer had 3 base hits and Red Ehret was able to finish what he started
and was credited with a complete game at Exposition Park as the Pittsburg
Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds 8 to 3.

In the bottom of the 4th inning Pittsburg scored 3 runs when they came up with
4 base hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Doggie Miller who thrilled
the crowd when he delivered a one-base hit scoring two baserunners.
Pittsburg banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Ehret(11-8) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. The losing pitcher was Billy Rhines(0-8).
