Mike Donlin cracked a homer and had 3 RBI as the smoking-hot Cincinnati Reds
beat the floundering Philadelphia-NL Phillies by a score of 12 to 7.

Donlin had a big day against Philadelphia-NL.  He doubled bringing in a run in
the 1st inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 4th inning.
Philadelphia-NL out-hit Cincinnati 16 to 10, but Cincinnati ended up with
more runs.  

The win went to Tom Walker(5-8) who allowed 5 runs in 6 innings. Walker got
help from Cy Falkenberg who earned his 2nd save.  Barney Pelty(4-16) was the
loser.  

With the win, Cincinnati continued their winning ways; their streak now stands
at 7 games and counting.
