Frank Kitson didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning as the Pittsburg Pirates
were badly beaten by the very potent Baltimore Orioles, 10 to 0.

Kitson(3-1) simply dominated Pittsburg.  He didn't give up much, just 3 hits
and no walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 4.80 to 3.69.  The
right-handed Kitson had his no-hit bid broken up by Willie Clark who singled
with nobody out in the 6th inning.  Baltimore had a total of 14 hits for the
game.  

Jim Gardner(5-10) was tagged with the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing
14 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.
