Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 7 to 6.

Taylor(18-5) gave a fine effort for Chicago-NL. He was reached for 12 hits
and 2 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings. Pittsburgh threatened in the 9th but their
rally came up short.

Taylor got help from Norwood Gibson who was credited with his 3rd save.
Luther Taylor(7-13) was hit with the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 2
walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.

David Graham was reflective after the loss, 'We should have won this one, we
just made one too many mistakes. Son-of-a-gun, that added a couple more
white hairs on this noggin of mine.'
