Frank Corridon(9-7) delivered a fine performance for Philadelphia-AL.  He went
8 and 2/3 innings surrendering 12 hits and 1 walk.  Philadelphia-NL tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.  

Roy Patterson earned the save, his 17th.  Jim Buchanan(5-8) absorbed the loss.
