Frank Arellanes tossed a complete game as the Boston Red Sox outscored the
woeful St. Louis Browns 4 to 1.

In the 4th inning Boston scored 3 runs with the help of 4 hits.  It was enough
scoring to earn the victory.  After the 4th inning, neither team was able to
score.  

The win went to Arellanes(6-5) who allowed 1 run in the game. Barney
Pelty(3-11) absorbed the loss.  Boston extended their winning streak to 6
games. Boston's manager held court after the contest, 'Everything is coming
up aces right now.  It is important for our team to ride this wave as long as
we can.  Every win is important.'
