Pete Alexander had a complete game at Brush Stadium as the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the New York Giants by the count of 10 to 4.

Hans Lobert had a big day against New York.  He cleared the bases with a Grand
Slam homerun in the 3rd inning and banged out a single which scored a run in
the 5th inning.  Philadelphia totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.

Alexander(12-14) got the victory, allowing 4 runs for the game. The losing
pitcher was Rube Marquard(13-5).  He served up 4 homeruns in his 9 innings.
