George Treadway slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Brooklyn Grooms bested
the pathetic Washington Senators 15 to 11 at Eastern Park.

Treadway helped send the fans home happy. He smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 2nd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 4th
inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 8th inning. Brooklyn lit up the
scoreboard in the 2nd inning which saw them score 4 runs on 3 hits, the 4th
inning with 5 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning which saw them plate 4 runs
on 4 hits. Despite scoring in 6 separate innings, Washington could not get
the win.

Brickyard Kennedy(11-9) went 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 11 runs for the
victory. John Malarkey(2-5) ended up with the loss. He got hit pretty hard,
allowing 17 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
