Willie Keeler had a big day at the plate. He smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 1st inning, laced a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 3rd inning and tripled bringing in two baserunners in the 6th inning. Despite losing, Cleveland out-hit Brooklyn 12 to 9. The winning pitcher was McJames(13-7) who allowed 4 runs for the game. Charlie Knepper(1-14) was charged with the loss. Brooklyn scored big getting 10 runs off him in 8 innings. 'I felt great out there today' Keeler said. 'I was seeing the ball perfectly, and I was right on it with my swing.
