Jack Harper hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the St. Louis Browns topped the
Washington Senators by a score of 10 to 7 at American League
Park.

Harper(8-15) gave a fine effort for St. Louis.  He went 8 and 2/3 innings and
surrended up 10 hits and 3 walks.  Washington threatened in the 9th but their
rally came up short.  

Joe Sugden recorded his 3rd save.  Casey Patten(7-15) was hit with the loss.
He was knocked around by St. Louis, allowing 15 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings.
