Kid Nichols had a complete game at Exposition Park where the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3 to 1.

Nichols(7-7) pitched well for Philadelphia in their victory.  He went 9
innings and surrended up 8 hits and 5 walks lowering his ERA to 3.14.
Philadelphia managed only 6 hits on the afternoon.  

Charlie Case(8-9) was the losing pitcher.  'I struggled a bit out there
today,' Nichols said, 'but I toughed it out and we got the win.'
