Guy Morton retired 10 batters on strikeouts as the Cleveland Indians topped
the St. Louis Browns by a score of 6 to 2 at League Park.
Morton(7-11) was virtually untouchable. He gave up just 6 hits and no walks
in 9 innings. Cleveland banged out 7 hits on the afternoon.
The loss was charged to George Sisler(3-4). 'I've been working on a few
things in my delivery, and I think I'm hitting a good groove.' Morton said
after the game. 'I'm ready to start another game tomorrow!'
