Fennelly had a big day with his bat. He lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 1st inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 6th inning. Cincinnati managed 7 hits in their victory. McKeon(13-4) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. The loss was charged to Jumbo McGinnis(10-6). When questioned about his counterpart after the game, McGinnis was lavish in his praise, 'It was obvious very early on that we were going to be in for a long night. McKeon brought his 'A' game with him - he had good stuff and was able to spot it perfectly. He probably only made one or two bad pitches the entire game!
