Silver King was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the red-hot St. Louis Browns outscored the floundering
Cleveland Blues 15 to 7.

King(22-7) gave a fine effort for St. Louis. He was reached for 13 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings. St. Louis kept the scorekeepers busy in the 7th inning
with 4 runs on 3 hits and the 9th inning which saw them plate 7 runs on 3
hits. Cleveland scored in 5 different innings, but their shaky pitching kept
them from victory.

Mike Morrison(12-18) took the loss. He allowed 13 hits and 6 walks in 9
innings. In another of a string of victories, St. Louis extended their
winning streak to 7 games.
