Denny Lyons blasted 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and George Rettger tossed a
complete game as the St. Louis Browns defeated the Cincinnati Kelly's Killers
by a score of 8 to 5 at Sportsman's Park.

The St. Louis fans enjoyed the offense provided by Lyons.  He popped a two-run
clout over the fence in the 1st inning and smashed a two-run homer in the 3rd
inning.  Cincinnati went down without a fight in the 9th.  

Rettger(1-1) was the winner allowing 5 runs for the game. Frank Dwyer(15-23)
took the loss.  He allowed 8 runs and 6 hits in 8 innings.
