Ice Box Chamberlain was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Cincinnati Reds ballclub embarrassed the New York Giants
by the count of 14 to 4.

Cincinnati came up with 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning.  Cincinnati
simply wore out the New York pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.

The win went to Chamberlain(21-14) who allowed 4 runs in the game. Ed
Crane(13-20) was the losing pitcher.  He was unable to control the Cincinnati
offense and allowed 11 hits and 7 walks in 8 innings.
