Farmer Weaver had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Herb Goodall was able to finish what he
started and was credited with a complete game at Eclipse Park where the very
strong Louisville Colonels beat the Rochester Broncos 7 to 3.

Goodall(9-2) pitched a solid game.  He went 9 innings allowing 8 hits and 3
walks reducing his ERA from 4.32 to 4.10.  Louisville banged out 13 hits on
the afternoon.  

John Fitzgerald(6-6) absorbed the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits and
7 walks in 8 innings.  Louisville remained hot, improving their record to a
league leading 68-23.  They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days.  With
the loss, Rochester has a record of 4-6 lately, 50-40 overall.
