Bill Hogg completed the game without help from the bullpen at Hilltop Park
where the New York Highlanders beat the Detroit Tigers in 10 innings 8 to
7.

Both teams had scored 7 runs after nine full innings.  New York won the game
in the 10th inning.  Wid Conroy laced a one-base hit.  Danny Hoffman came
next and he tripled making New York the victor and beginning a joyous home
town celebration.  New York managed 11 hits in their victory.  

Hogg(9-7) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Red
Donahue(11-10) was charged with the loss.  New York now has a record of
55-46.  With this loss, Detroit has a 6-4 record of late, 43-63 overall.
