Dick Egan had 2 base hits at Brush Stadium where the Cincinnati Reds beat the
New York Giants in 10 innings by the score of 4 to 2.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  Cincinnati ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Tommy Clarke got things going when he
tripled.  Hank Severeid stepped up next and he lined a single plating a run.
Bob Bescher then delivered a one-base hit.  Johnny Bates followed next and he
laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Dick Hoblitzell came to the plate and reached on
an error scoring the final run of the inning.  Both teams ended up with 8
hits on the afternoon.  

Bobby Keefe(12-8) went 9 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Bert
Humphries earned the save, his 5th.  The losing pitcher was Red Ames(10-8).
