Wally Schang left the yard and had 3 RBI and Bullet Joe Bush allowed Connie
Mack to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Philadelphia
Athletics crushed the floundering Cleveland Naps 14 to 2.
Schang enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in
the 3rd inning and doubled in the 5th inning. Philadelphia managed 18 hits
in their victory.
The win was credited to Bush(11-6) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Fritz Coumbe(5-4) was tagged with the loss. He was not very effective,
surrendering 10 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings.
