Mickey Welch had a complete game at Polo Grounds as the New York Giants beat
the Philadelphia Quakers 4 to 3.

New York scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning.  That scoring would be
all that was needed.  New York finished with just 6 hits in the victory.

Welch(26-10) got the victory, allowing 3 runs for the game. The loss was
charged to Ed Daily(15-16).  He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing
an earned run in his 8 innings of work.
