Jocko Flynn had a complete game as the Chicago White Stockings topped the St.
Louis Maroons by a score of 11 to 3 at West Side Park.

In the 5th inning Chicago went on top for good scoring 3 runners on 4 hits.
The biggest moment was provided by Fred Pfeffer who electrified West Side
Park when he doubled bringing home two baserunners.  Chicago had a total of
12 hits for the game.  

The victory went to Flynn(12-4) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. John
Kirby(5-17) was tagged with the loss.  He was touched for 12 hits and 9 walks
in 8 innings.  

Chicago now has a record of a league leading 56-26.  With this loss, St. Louis
has a 3-7 record of late, 35-49 overall.
