Bill Sweeney lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 4 RBI as the Boston
Rustlers topped the Chicago Cubs by a score of 9 to 1 at South End
Grounds.

Sweeney provided much of the offense.  He singled in the 1st inning, doubled
plating a run in the 5th inning and lost the ball over the fence for three
runs in the 8th inning.  Boston finished with 11 hits while Chicago ended up
with 5.  

Orlie Weaver(3-13) went 7 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Weaver was
helped out by Fuller Thompson who recorded his 1st save.  The losing pitcher
was King Cole(10-7).  He surrendered 9 hits and 4 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
