In a close game the Cleveland Indians got by the Cincinnati Reds by the score
of 6 to 4.

Cleveland took the lead for good in the 4th inning scoring 2 runners on 2
hits. The biggest moment was provided by Dave Koslo who silenced Crosley
Field as he clubbed a two-run home run. Cleveland finished with 11 hits
while Cincinnati ended up with 7.

The victory went to Koslo(7-1) who went 6 and 2/3 innings, allowing 4 runs.
Koslo got help from Jim Hearn who was credited with his 37th save. The loss
was charged to Johnny Sain(8-16). He allowed 11 hits and 3 walks in 8
