Louisville fell behind quickly as the Washington offense came through in the
first inning scoring 3 runners on 5 hits.  Washington had a total of 11 hits
for the game.  

The victory went to Maul(11-10) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. Phil
Knell(7-12) suffered the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 11 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
