WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Bid McPhee robbed Bill Hallman of a base hit.

Right fielder Dusty Miller blasted 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Billy Rhines
completed the game without help from the bullpen at Baker Bowl where the
Cincinnati Reds beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the score of 14 to
6.

Miller had a great day at the plate. He banged out a single which brought
home a run in the 4th inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the
6th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 9th inning.
Offensively, Cincinnati was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.

Rhines(11-10) allowed 6 runs on the game. Kid Carsey(14-14) was the loser. He
served up 3 homeruns in his 9 innings. Cincinnati now has a record of 50-45.
With the loss, Philadelphia has a record of 7-3 lately, 52-42 overall.
