Dave Koslo shutout Washington while allowing the Cleveland bullpen a day-off
as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Washington Nationals by the score of 2
to 0 at Griffith Stadium.

Koslo(12-5) looked very much in control throughout the day.  He didn't give up
much, just 7 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings.  Cleveland managed only 5 hits on
the afternoon.  

Bob Feller(10-9) was charged with the loss.  With this win, Cleveland has a
league leading 83-41 record.  They have been 7-3 lately.  With the loss, the
Washington ballclub's record is 57-55.
