John Clarkson had a complete game at South End Grounds where the Boston
Beaneaters beat the New York Giants 10 to 4.

Charlie Bennett helped send the fans home happy.  He doubled bringing home two
baserunners in the 4th inning, doubled in the 6th inning and doubled which
scored a run in the 7th inning.  Boston totaled 11 hits on the afternoon.

Clarkson(26-18) allowed 4 runs on the game. Ed Crane(7-11) absorbed the loss.
He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits and 6 walks in 8 innings.
