Right fielder Josh Devore had 4 hits as the New York Giants topped the
Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Palace Of The
Fans.

Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings.  Finally, New York
prevailed in the 10th inning.  Art Devlin laced a single.  After an out was
recorded, New York's manager then called for a steal which was successful.
Chief Meyers then hit a deep fly scoring the run.  New York out-hit
Cincinnati for the game, 15 hits to 10.  

Doc Crandall(14-5) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. George
Suggs(10-11) suffered the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 inning and
surrendered 3 hits and no walks.
