Al Zarilla smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Fenway Park where the Boston
Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 14 to 10.

Zarilla enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He clubbed a three-run home run in
the 1st inning and blasted a solo shot in the 6th inning.  Boston finished
with 17 hits while New York ended up with 10.  

Johnny Sain(22-8) got the win allowing 10 runs in 5 innings. Tommy Byrne
earned his 6th save.  Spec Shea(3-4) was the losing pitcher in relief.
