The game was won by Providence with a run in the top of the 9th inning. After
an out was recorded, Dick Higham laced a base-knock. Tom Healey then picked
Higham off first base. Tom York then reached on an error. York then stole
second base. Lew Brown stepped into the box and doubled scoring the run.
Despite losing, Indianapolis out-hit Providence 11 to 8.
